Continuous submerge fryer DLA 150-600 SC World record with the DLA
On 27 August 2016, a world record was set with WP RIEHLE. In the tranquil town of Altstätten in Switzerland, the world’s longest cordon bleu was deep-fried using our DLA: weighing 140 kg and measuring exactly 41.665 metres in length. The gigantic strip of meat was deep-fried in the DLA in around 80 litres of oil over a period of four hours. The result: 750 portions of cordon bleu of the highest quality in terms of both taste and texture. This is typical of the DLA, which is normally used by canteens and caterers to produce fresh food on a ‘continuous conveyor belt’. The world record made it into the Guinness Book of Records at the time.
